No. All audio assets on Mulika Audio Safari are licensed, not sold. When you purchase a license, you are acquiring a non-exclusive legal grant to synchronize the audio into your video or audio production. 100% of the underlying copyright, master sound recording rights, and publishing remain owned by the original African composer and Mulika Studios Ltd.

'Royalty-Free' means you pay a single upfront fee (in tokens or fiat) for your cleared license tier and you never pay ongoing per-view, per-stream, or per-episode sync royalties out-of-pocket to MAS. In contrast, 'License-Free' or 'Copyright-Free' is a common misconception assuming music is in the public domain. MAS music is NOT copyright-free; it is legally protected intellectual property that is cleared under a valid synchronization license.

No. Each music sync license is tied to a single registered production, series, podcast, or primary content channel (e.g. your YouTube channel URL). If you are producing separate commercial advertising campaigns for different corporate clients, each distinct commercial project requires its own sync clearance tier.

STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. You may not upload MAS music, loops, or sound effects to YouTube Content ID, Shazam, Meta Rights Manager, CD Baby, DistroKid, TuneCore, or Performing Rights Organizations (UPRS, ASCAP, BMI, PRS) as your own original composition. Doing so infringes on artist copyright and results in legal action and immediate account termination.

The Sample Pass is a dedicated subscription exclusively for music producers and beatmakers looking for loops and one-shot samples. It issues monthly sample credits (1 Credit = 1 Sample/Loop) and does NOT interfere with master music track licensing or SFX purchases.

You need a Tier 3 Commercial License if your project involves national or global television broadcast, theatrical cinema release, nationwide radio ads, major corporate ad campaigns, or AAA gaming titles. It provides corporate invoices and automated PRO cue sheets.

A Cue Sheet is an official document required by television networks, film distributors, and broadcasters listing all music used in a production, including composer legal names, PRO affiliations (UPRS, SAMRO, PRS, ASCAP, BMI), IPI numbers, and publishing splits. MAS automatically generates an industry-standard 1-page PDF Cue Sheet upon purchase to make submission seamless for video editors.

Whenever you license a track on MAS, 60% of the front-end fee (tokens or fiat) is credited immediately to the composer's profile balance. In addition, when TV networks broadcast the production, the composer collects backend performance royalties through their affiliated PRO using our automated cue sheet.

When acquiring a Tier 1 (Creator) or Tier 2 (Indie) license, you can provide your YouTube Channel URL. We whitelist your channel in the rights management registry, preventing automated copyright claims on your synchronized videos.

Master downloads are delivered as high-resolution 24-bit / 96kHz or 48kHz Broadcast WAV files for SFX, and 16/24-bit 44.1kHz Broadcast WAV files for music tracks. Sample packs are delivered as high-speed ZIP archives.

Stems are isolated audio stems (e.g. Drums & Percussion, Bassline, Melodic Instruments, Lead Vocals). Tier 2 (Indie / Doc) and Tier 3 (Commercial) licenses automatically unlock multitrack stems for advanced audio mixing.

We strictly adhere to the Universal Category System (UCS v8.2.1) standard. All SFX files contain embedded broadcast metadata including CatIDs, FXName, descriptions, and recording locations for professional librarians and DAW search tools.
