Community Guidelines
Our shared commitment to authentic sound preservation, fair contributor splits, anti-piracy, and cultural respect across the Safari.
1. Authentic African Cultural Preservation
Mulika Audio Safari exists to preserve and honor African musical heritage. Audio submissions, field recordings, and metadata must accurately reflect authentic origins, regional traditions, and cultural contexts.
2. Originality & Rights Clearance
Contributors and recordists must hold full copyright or recorded authorization for all uploaded sound assets. Uploading third-party copyrighted samples, bootlegs, or unauthorized field recordings is strictly prohibited.
3. Fair Contributor Revenue Splits
We honor every creator who contributes to the Safari. Revenue from Standard SFX, Vault compositions, and sample pack downloads is split transparently according to agreed contributor split sheets.
4. Respectful Audio Metadata
Track titles, descriptions, and tags must be respectful and free of offensive, derogatory, or misleading labels. Traditional instruments (e.g., Ganda drums, adungu, endere) should be accurately named and tagged.
